Epigraphs Guide: Rarity, Stars, Workshop
32 epigraphs · 4 types · 30 workshop levels
Updated:
Epigraphs are the Raven's rune system. There are 32 of them in four types, they are crafted from shards in the Epigraph Workshop and they get stars from copies.
Short answer: Epigraphs open at Raven evolve level 10. The Epigraph Workshop opens at Sanctuary 5 and has 30 levels. A UR epigraph costs 800 UR shards at Workshop 20, and 5 stars take 19 copies in total.
The four types

🐦 Frenzied Flock

🔄 Reversal Power

Ranks, rarity and crafting
| Rank | Rarity | Variants per type | Craft cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| IV | UR | 3 faction variants | 800 UR shards, Workshop 20 |
| III | SSR | 3 faction variants | 400 shards, Workshop 15¹ |
| II | SR | 1 | · |
| I | R | 1 | · |
Guard of Nature III is the exception among SSR epigraphs: sources list 800 shards instead of 400, but disagree on whether that applies to one or all three variants.¹
Stars
Stars 1 to 5 cost 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7 copies, 19 in total. Might of a UR epigraph rises from 120k to 600k with stars. A sixth UR star for 10 more copies appears in two sources, the third says that row is unused.¹
Shard values from chests: R 1, SR 5, SSR 30, UR 100.
